Caltech's Career Advising & Experiential Learning Office
- The Center for Career Advising and Experiential Learning (CAEL) provides Caltech and JPL postdocs with advising, information and contacts to help them make career decisions, as well as develop and implement an effective career plan.
Caltech Center for Inclusion and Diversity
- The CCID is committed to providing Education, Advocacy, and Allyship to create a community of Equity and Inclusive Excellence. The Center provides workshops, affinity groups, events and mentorship opportunities.
Caltech Center of Teaching, Learning and Outreach
- The Caltech Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach offers support to Postdocs by providing resources, consultation services, courses and seminars.

- The Writing Center offers help with teaching and diversity statement as well as one-on-one consultations for writing help.
International Scholar Services
- The International Scholar Services team is ready to provide immigration and adjustment support once you have an appointment at Caltech.
- Share your love of STEM with children in the Pasadena area or when visiting other institutions by participating in the programs found on the linked page above.
- Dr. Javier is a STEM communications Specialist in EAS. She often hosts workshops for those interested in improving their presentation and communication skills.
The Staff and Faculty Consultation Center (SFCC)
- Caltech postdoctoral scholars can access the SFCC. The SFCC offers individual, couple, and family consultations to address a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, parenting, elder care, work-related stress, and communication challenges with supervisors, employees, or co-workers.
- Offers workshops and training in mentoring, especially for mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. The office also operates the summer research programs and visiting student programs.
- The center, primarily set up for students, offer an archive of online workshops on a variety of topics focusing on mental and physical health.
